About the MHBG

The Michigan Homebrewer's Guild (MHBG) is an organization of homebrewers throughout the state of Michigan devoted to the quality, growth, and awareness of homebrewing. We offer our knowledge and ideas to all Michigan brewers from beginners to professionals.

We are a statewide network of experienced homebrewers who support anyone starting out in homebrewing and encourage and foster anyone who is thinking of trying it. With our network we are able to offer our suggestions, time, and assistance to new or potential homebrewers at any time.

We also incorporate the assistance and knowledge of local area professional brewers and businesses when available. The MHBG will support all participating businesses on the MHBG website.

Through the MHBG private website forums we share our ideas, stories, suggestions, and questions. This gives all members the opportunity to expand their knowledge, provide help to those seeking assistance, and interact with any MHBG member. The forums also provide a means for conveying MHBG news and information.

The MHBG is a conduit for Michigan homebrew clubs by directing new homebrewers to their local club if that is their interest.

Our goal is to create and offer an amateur brewing organization in Michigan that provides all homebrewers the opportunity to:

•  Learn how to homebrew

•  Expand one's knowledge of homebrewing

•  Share information and personal experiences of homebrewing

•  Network with all Michigan homebrewers, professional brewers, and businesses

•  Participate in any benefits obtained and offered by the MHBG

By achieving these objectives our hope is that Michigan becomes the finest homebrewing community in the world .
